Hometown Healthcare

Christina has been working in the Oneonta & Altoona communities since 2019. She moved from Calhoun to Blount County in 2015. She graduated from Samford University with her Masters in Nursing. She has been a nurse since 2014 and has worked in LTAC, med-surg, orthopedics, urgent, and long-term care settings. Geriatric Care is her passion. She has opened Hometown Healthcare to bring back traditional medical care where the patient is at the center. She believes every patient deserves undivided attention, care that is compassionate and comprehensive, as well as treatment plans that the patient can be invested in because they define their own goals with provider guidance. 

She wants to create a unique environment for her patients when they come into the clinic. The office space is designed to be a home-like environment that is comforting, warm, and inviting. She believes this helps to ease fear, anxiousness, and apprehension that often follows medical appointments. She hopes to help transition healthcare back to the patient and away from profit driven or population controlled mentality.
When she isn’t providing patients with love & care, she is spending time with her husband Jared, son Swade, their 6 dogs, or Charlee & Apollo her bearded dragons on the lake or their cattle farm somewhere.
